Here’s something to warm your heart during this cold February: A new Mutant Reviewer! We want to welcome Josh to the site and the giant ball pit that is cult movies.

Josh is a native of Richmond, Virginia and, as a child of a single mother, was raised by a series of oiled up and shirtless men including Jean-Claude Van Damme, Sylvester Stallone, and Jackie Chan. When their thumbs became fatigued from hours of Nintendo 64, Josh and his friends would relax with a wild sci-fi or horror video picked up at the local video store. Viewing time these days is all about trying to recapture the feeling of finding a ridiculous gem with which to kill some time. Some favorite movies include Police Story, The Beastmaster, Dawn of the Dead, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Clerks, and Empire Records, to name a few. He currently resides in Richmond with his wife, pup, and cat.
